Hello Tansi, I’m Kalaija Ward-Buffalo a Nehiyaw (Cree) woman, mom of two, online fitness coach, fancy shawl dancer, and creative artist based in Alberta, Canada. Everything I create comes from the same place.. love, healing, and the desire to empower others to step into their own strength.

Through Made by Kalaija Ward, I share pieces inspired by Indigenous identity.. each design reflecting culture, movement, and connection to spirit. My work is a way of carrying forward the beauty of our people, while expressing strength and resilience through art.

Outside of my art, I’m also an online personal trainer, helping women reclaim their strength physically, mentally, and spiritually through my fitness programs and challenges. My mission is to create a space where we can feel powerful in our bodies, connected to who we are, and proud of where we come from.
